HISTORY

Executives Available Inc. is a private, non-profit organization that began on October 7th, 1977. At that time, several unemployed senior executives were having difficulties reintegrating into the workplace and resources were unavailable to assist them in finding management positions. With the help of Father Thomas D. McEntee, they decided to create a self-help organization called: Executives Available Inc.

For 20 years, the group remained self-supporting. In 1993, discussions with the federal government and subsequently the provincial government eventually led to a partnership. It was easy to demonstrate past accomplishments of the organization, and given government funding, a potential for growth and greater success in the future.

The foresight on the part of Executives Available Inc. and government personnel proved to be accurate. In fact, results greatly exceeded their expectations.

TODAY

Our services are needed more than ever. In recent years cutbacks in management personnel have had an impact on a large share of the market we have been servicing.

The E.A. program has consistently moved its members back into the workplace at a faster rate than they could have achieved on their own. Our records show that executives and professionals trying to find work without assistance take an average of one year to relocate compared to our average of 3 months.

Executives Available Inc. is now a well-established and respected organization. Our experience, combined with government support, reflects the remarkable success we presently have on the job market.

OUR CLIENTELE

The typical client arrives angry, filled with resentment, self-pity or self-loathing, all of which hinders the process of effectively finding employment. It is a misleading notion that executives and professionals know how to look for work. We make it easier for them by offering our facilities and extensive career transition experience.
